【Original Intention • Chapter Five|Choosing Natural Flavor】

In the food business, there are many ways to make a flavor stronger.
Artificial seasoning can easily intensify a broth. It shortens the hours of preparation and offers the most convenient way to cook a bowl of soup. Yet Nicole has always believed that a taste meant to endure must be rooted in nature.
When she was developing the broth, one question stayed with her. Without artificial seasoning, would the soup still taste rich enough?
She did not ignore that question.
Nicole spent over eight years testing and refining the recipe, adjusting proportions and improving methods, all to prove one thing. The natural sweetness that lives within the fish has always been enough. It simply asks for patience.
We chose to combine Dried Flounder Fish with Threadfin Bream and allow the broth to simmer slowly. As the hours pass, the flavor deepens on its own. The milky color develops naturally, without additives, without shortcuts.
Natural is not a slogan.
It means refusing the easy way. It means allowing flavor to come from ingredients rather than intensity. The freshness unfolds gently, leaving a clean and steady aftertaste.
The cost is higher. The preparation takes longer. We accept that, because this is the standard we set for ourselves.
Protecting what is natural is not always easy. But once we chose this path, we knew we had to stay on it.
Our original intention began with the harbor.
Our persistence comes from conscience.
Even a bowl of soup reflects a decision.
